📚 Becoming a teacher is definitely an act of love and after 15 years plus... 📖
~Just like when you choose your partner in life, being a mentor is a decision and maybe the most important one you will ever take!!
~When you choose to be a teacher you choose to adopt kids or even young learners & adults into your life to be their family, when you have kids, you play the role of the mom, superhero, educator, chef, psychologist, nurse, best friend, etc., on their everyday life; because if you think about it, as a homeroom teacher they spend way more time with you than they with their own parents!!
~You get to help, hold and see their first tooth falling, you teach them to forgive and forget to make their relationships stronger, you show them how to tie their shoes, to respect others, to choose always healthy food, and to never tell a lie; you adopt those little pieces of love into your life and for an entire year, they are all that you can think about because even when they go back home in the afternoon, your work of love for them never stops, you constantly en up taking extra work home so that you can surprise them every time the next day with something new!!
~You spend your own money on getting them candy, books, little toys, and resources that you know the school would never approve a budget for but you do it out of love.
~You have them every night in your prayers, you suffer when they do and you miss them every Holliday and Sunday!!
~Therefore being a Teacher is not a job but a blessing from heaving to have the opportunity to get to know these little fellas, to love them, and to share the most important days & moments of their lives.
It's a life's blessing to be soooo adored by little pure hearts that see you every morning like a princess!!
~And today as every morning my BEAUTIFUL AMAZING LOVING FAMILY reminded me of that..
Because for the last 9 years I have waked up EVERY MORNING with my breakfast in bed, a hot coffee, and a little post-it note saying.. YOU ARE THE #1 TEACHER IN THE WORLD🌎
